Once you right click and select Camera Settings, the panel will open up with multiple sliders and tabs visible. The effect of these settings can vary based on your camera type, but if you are using one of our recommended cameras, it will always work the same way.
Adjusting the settings:
It is best that you try and experiment with the settings yourself and see how it fits your liking. But be aware that for the best natural looking colors, it is highly advised that the sliders are all set mostly towards their default values. If you need assistance with the camera settings, please do contact our technical team on the Support Chat anytime.
Saving your settings
Once you have the image set as your heart desires, you can save the preset by first giving it a name at Setting Name, then clicking on the Save Button. This will close the window as well and you can return to streaming. The saved presets will be stored locally in Registry, on your own computer. If you go online from another computer, you will have to set and save your settings again.
Loading the settings
You can load up your settings by clicking on the dropdown list at Load Settings and selecting your previously saved preset, then pressing Save button again.
Pop Out Camera Feed
Double clicking on your camera feed while you are online will make it pop out. This camera feed can be moved around and resized. This way you can see yourself in better detail and prepare for your next private. Double clicking on this image again will put it back into it's original place. Please note that resizing your camera image here will not affect the size and quality of your stream while you are online.
About Camera Splitters
One camera can be used only by one application in the same time. If you wish to use your camera with more applications simultaneously you need a camera splitter program. The splitter will divide the signal of your camera between the different applications which will allow you to use them at the same time while broadcasting your camera image.
We do not recommend the use of a splitter, as it will degrade the quality of your stream.
VISIT-X Video Splitter
This splitter provides fluent camera picture and is compatible with our site with most cameras and resolution settings.
You can download the supported version here: VISIT-X-Video-Splitter-9.0.1.3.exe (right-click on the link and hit "Save link as...")
Autoupdate: Make sure you untick the box of the autoupdate so your VISIT-X will be working with our software.
When you launch VISIT-X this settings panel will pop up:
Main menus:
- Camera: You can select your camera here as source.
- Format: You can adjust the resolution. We suggest to choose 'wide' 1280x720, 864x480, or 864x486 resolution for the perfect image.
- FPS: You can also adjust the frame rate here, 30 Fps is the required value as a setting here in order to have a continuous image. If you can't find the desired resolution or FPS, click on the Format button and select it there.
- What could be the reason that the only available FPS in VISIT-X is 24? Most probably 2 cameras are connected at the same time, removing one of them can solve the issue.
- Autoupdate Make sure it is always unchecked!
- Extras: Deinterlace, brightness, contrast and color settings.
Deinterlacing: If you notice lines in your video feed, it means that your image is "interlaced". The deinterlace feature helps to reduce these lines.
How to setup VISIT-X and OranumCam?
- Open your VISIT-X Splitter software.
- Select your webcamera below the „Camera” sign from the drop down menu.
- Choose the desired resolution and 30FPS next to „Format”. Then click „OK”.
- Open the OranumCam standalone software and choose „VISIT-X Video Splitter” as the source of the video feed.
- Make sure that the „Audio Device” in OranumCam is the Microphone of your camera.
- Choose the same resolution as in your splitter, with 30FPS and 850bitrate in OranumCam next to „Video Quality”.
Tips:
- Ticking the box of „Preview” you can see your actual image.
- VISIT-X can be completely closed with the Exit button.
- You can enable 'Launch on startup' in VISIT-X thus the software will be opened right after your system starts, however we do not recommend it.
- After clicking on 'Default' in 'Extras' you can have all your settings on factory levels.
For the proper image quality make sure to select the same resolution in Oranumcam and the splitter as well.
